Do you work on Oil / LPG?

Unfortunately not. At present we are focusing on natural gas so if your property relies on stored fuel then you will need a different company.

Will you unblock my toilet?

Fortunately not. If you have a slow running bath or shower then this is most likely a blockage in your internal pipework and something we can fix. If however you are having difficulties with a toilet backing up or all of your drains then you need a drainage company such as drain wise.

Why is my boiler not working?

The magic question!

You should always use a Gas Safe Engineer to repair your boiler, but sometimes its something silly!

  • Visually check there's power to it (look for lights, display etc),
  • Check you've got gas (light the hob or fire if possible)
  • Check that you have enough water in the radiators.

If you have a gauge (clock face / circle dial with numbers and a needle) on your boiler or system it should be 1-1.5bar when cold.

If you have hot water but no heating its always worth changing the batteries in your room thermostat / programmer.

Did you know gas fires often have a battery in them too?

Do I need a new boiler?

Most boilers can be repaired and we will give you an honest and fair assessment as to the condition of your boiler, the cost of repairs and the likelihood of further repairs been needed vs the cost of a replacement.


What is the best boiler?

We believe that the best boiler is the one your heating engineer reccommends.

Each Engineer will have their own preferences and bias due to their unique career.

Do your own research but find an engineer you can trust, and then trust that engineer.


How much do you charge?

We charge from £60 for up to the first hour at your property. This varies as to your location and the nature of the work. Landlord safety inspections are charged with fixed prices.
